The ecohouse.org website is ready to roll.
The site is hosted on LMi.net, a Berkeley
institution.
We could begin discussions about what sorts of stuff we'd
like to appear on the site. Much of the website discussion
will parallel that of the brochure committee, only a bit
more dynamic because we won't have printing costs or color
limitations for the website. We could also use a unified
graphical theme, something that will be consistent with
newsletters and brochures.
Some ideas for content:
- Contact information
- Progress reports with
photos
- Calendar with timeline
- Illustration and database of the
technologies and practices we intend to use (including
alternative technologies we passed on for
financial/embodied energy reasons)
- Links to sites with more
info
- Fund-raising petition
- Acknowledgment of
benefactors
- More ideas? Toss 'em all on the
table. Nothing is too wacky.
