We sent a 4 inch organic wool and organic cotton queen-size futon weighing 75 lb. and very solid to Sebastopol. The client wanted all cotton. If someone takes it at $400 and picks it up they save the shipping + tax and a portion of the price. NEW IN PACKAGE. Usual retail price for a four inch prepackaged (ten year warranty) queen organic cotton and organic wool with organic cotton cover weighing 75 lb. is $589--a few hundred dollars less than Real Goods or Harmony for the same thing. A 3" futon, weighing 25 lb. or 30 lb., is available everywhere for about $360. Shipping was $200 and the tax I will cover. So the $400 covers the wholesale payment I will be giving the manufacturer, since he is sending the client a replacement in cotton without wool. It is meant to be a win-win situation.
