Green energy sources are renewable energy sources. They are primarily solar energy sources.

Conservation is currently the least expensive source of energy.


Energy efficiency is of particular importance when we talk about building and financing power systems. A BTU saved is a BTU that doesn't have to be produced. A smaller power plant is usually a cheaper power plant. This is true for large utilities, like PG&E or SMUD, and it's true at home.
